FLASHER, EIGHT-WAY, SCHOOL BUS, (WELDON)

Sat Jan 15, 1: Need help if anyone can assist. Purchased the new Relay from WolfsburgWest and have installed mostly but their instructions are not spot on with the wiring I have in my Westy so figured I would ask here. WW is closed on Saturday so tried to ask them first but no luck. Below will be 3 pictures. I took this picture before unplugging any wires so I could look back at it if needed. So, the new Relay came with 2 wires already connected to the relay. You no longer use the blue wire from the turn signal switch. No place on the install sheet does it reference it. So, for now, I put that same wire to the new 15 black post.

The Cross Country Tour “XCT” version, which is the model I have , of the Cross Country comes with a topcase; if you have a base Cross Country or some new similar models from Victory, the topcase is available as an option. The Flasher module is also available from Custom Dynamics which has some close relationship to CustomLED, and may actually be the same company, for all I know.

As with all the pictures on this page, click on the image to enlarge it, and then press Escape or Enter or the “X” which appears if you hover your mouse over it to close the enlargement:

Jul 01,  · when I run a dummy flasher I hook it directly to the ball with about 6 -7′ of lb mono. I set my release clip up the wire by dropping the ball and holding onto the flasher till the ball just pulls the flasher into the water.

You can fish them unbaited, but i like to use the rig with a small piece of squid as it add some sent to the arrangement. Fishing a snatcher paternoster fishing rig will enable you to fish 2 hooks circle hooks. You can test out snapper rigs or paternoster fishing rigs here at ebay. Once you have your snapper rig, you will then be ready to head out anddo some bottom bouncing ,fishing from boats to catch fish from reefs and surf beaches.

A strip of pilchard is ideal, especially in the surf. Bait the hook just as you would for normal circle hooks. Small fish fillets or pieces of cut up baitfish can also be used with Snapper Rigs Snapper snatcher. When baiting up, make sure the gape of the hook is not obscured with too much bait and the hook point is well clear of the of your chocie of fresh bait. Once you have your The flasher rigged, baited and in the water, sit back and relax The circle hooks, are designed to hook the fish in the corner of the mouth as it takes the bait and moves away.

This thing is a joke right? This allowed me to ditch the front factory turn signals that stuck out from the side of the headlamp mask. I want to keep this bike as trim as possible.

Does anybody know how to wire a basic flasher relay from scratch? It is for my that has the hazard lights on the rear. It DOES NOT have turn signals, only hazards.

Coelacanth The term “fish” most precisely describes any non- tetrapod craniate i. As paraphyletic groups are no longer recognised in modern systematic biology , the use of the term “fish” as a biological group must be avoided. Many types of aquatic animals commonly referred to as “fish” are not fish in the sense given above; examples include shellfish , cuttlefish , starfish , crayfish and jellyfish.

In earlier times, even biologists did not make a distinction — sixteenth century natural historians classified also seals , whales, amphibians , crocodiles , even hippopotamuses , as well as a host of aquatic invertebrates, as fish. In some contexts, especially in aquaculture , the true fish are referred to as finfish or fin fish to distinguish them from these other animals. Their leaf-like appendages camouflage them amongst floating seaweed. A typical fish is ectothermic , has a streamlined body for rapid swimming, extracts oxygen from water using gills or uses an accessory breathing organ to breathe atmospheric oxygen, has two sets of paired fins, usually one or two rarely three dorsal fins, an anal fin, and a tail fin, has jaws, has skin that is usually covered with scales , and lays eggs.

Each criterion has exceptions.

It actually refreshes every second. As terminology suggests, these base maps are pretty basic. It serves its purpose for indicating your location and for plotting though, but the detail is minimal. Thus, is not the best navigation tool. However, there are plenty of upgrade possibilities see below. Waypoints and routes functions are also included.

This Lowrance unit can store up to 3, waypoints and up to routes, with waypoints per each route. The unit can store up to retraceable trails. Evidently, waypoints, routes, and trails can be shared between units connected via NMEA and backed up on a microSD card. This unit is also Insight Genesis capable. Via this app, you can combine sonar with maps, for superior awareness. In other words, you can create your own maps, or modify existent ones via the Insight Genesis app, and use them with your unit.

To make it clear, this unit cannot use SideScan. The HDI Skimmer transducer is also supplied with the control unit.

Place motorcycle on solid, level ground and on center stand if equipped. Remove your turn signal lens. Place it upside down and clean the lens interior with the supplied alcohol wipe.

Jan 18,  · Make sure that the blue wire that brings power is hooked up correctly, disconnect the other three, and then hook up each of those three wires, one at a time, to the same place on the the output, and see if all three of the wires make something flash.

The unit itself is also capable of 50 kHz frequencies. The transducer supplied with the unit comes with a transom mount. It has a built-in temperature sensor and comes with 20 ft approx. The only difference is how the signal from the transducer is processed by the sonar module. Since it uses CHIRP, each pulse is modulated over a range of frequencies, rather than only one frequency.

Due to this clarity, via DownScan you will be able to understand shapes better and make a better idea of the bottom structure. Also, via DownScan Overlay function, you can actually blend the DownScan imaging with the 2D sonar, in order to make a better distinction between fish arches and structure. The beams used by the transducer supplied with this unit are conical for 2D, and very thin, fan-shaped beams for DownScan.

Last but not least, this unit offers various other sonar functions. It actually refreshes every second. They serve their purpose though, indicating your geographic location, and for plotting, waypoints, and tracks.

December Report for October 2, September in in the books and it ended up being pretty good. We did lose half our trips to high winds and because the harbor water was 69 degrees from top to bottom we had to cancel many trips we would have normally run in the harbor. September is usually tied wiht April as the two months we fish the Milwaukee harbor but things half to set up for this to be effective.

East winds and lots of rain pretty much eliminated this and we only ran 4 trips in the harbor this September. The Chinook return was not that strong and a lot of the fish either shot up the river or went into the marina section early. This did set up other areas though.

Sep 20,  · New Blue wire ran from KBL on new relay up to Emergency Flasher and it replaced the blue wire going over to the speed. I will tape off the little blue wire in case I ever find a stock relay again and need to use it.

Flashers can be used on the actual fishing line, and, in a system known as dummy flasher where the flasher is attached directly to the downrigger cannonball or placed on the downrigger wire. How Does a Flasher Work Flashers work through the creation of a visual mark that resembles an adult salmon swimming and slashing rapidly through a herring ball. When nearby salmon sees the flasher they anticipate that another salmon has found and attacked some forage fish and that there may be some injured baits nearby that could be scooped up for an easy meal.

The nearby salmon will be attracted to the flasher. The flasher creates a visual cue and a vibration in the water, both of which can be sensed by nearby salmon. Flashers Create Action for Hoochies Another benefit to the flasher is that it can impart some action or movement to lures that do not create their own movement. Salmon plugs, spoons and plug cut baits all create their own actions, but, hoochies do not and the use of a flasher in front of a hoochie is a critical aspect to the fishing technique.

Salmon hoochies should be tied on relatively heavy fluorocarbon leaders, 50lb test. Hoochie leaders should also be on the shorter side of the spectrum in relation to the leader lengths used for plugs, spoons, and plug cut baits.

Terry Rudnick Photo Back in the steelhead-fishing hey-day of the early seventies, I spent a lot more time fishing our Northwest Rivers than I spent on the salt water. I was addicted to winter steelhead fishing, sometimes quitting my job with a local timber company just after Thanksgiving, fishing every day the rivers were in shape for the next four months, and looking for work again when April rolled around.

Life was good, but I did, of course, experience hot streaks and cold spells over the course of every season. One of those cold streaks was a week or so when I hooked and lost ten fish in a row on bait , and I was about to go nuts trying to figure out why. Out of desperation, I switched from one brand of hook to another. Although the two were the same size and looked nearly identical at first glance, there were minute differences in their gap and point length.

The Silver Streak Flodger is an attractor that is a cross between a flasher and a dodger. This Flodger will run at high speeds with your favorite salmon spoons and also works well with a .

Blackmouth Tips and Techniques By Terry Rudnick on November 7, One of the best things about living in western Washington is that a saltwater angler can find a place to fish for salmon all year long. And, during the winter months, when the uninformed might think the pickings would be at their slimmest, there are plenty of places where someone in need of a salmon fix can get out of the house and get their salmon fix. Wintertime is blackmouth time in these parts, and for the next two or three months there are lots of places where saltwater fishermen can chase these resident kings of winter.

I fish the spoons behind a flasher, and the first one in the water is always an inch Pro-Troll flasher. There are usually lots of squid around, especially late in the winter and in early spring, and when he wants to replicate fresh calamari, Nelson turns to plugs. He fishes them without flashers or anything else, and usually runs them farther back behind the downrigger than he runs flasher gear, about 40 feet. He also fishes them about 10 feet higher in the water column than the flashers.

As for trolling direction, Nelson notes that blackmouth are active feeders, willing to chase bait, so he fishes with the current to cover lots of water and troll his gear right into their faces. A slight zig-zag pattern gives the rigs a chance to slow down on one side of the boat and speed up on the other. As for where Nelson likes to apply his favorite blackmouth tricks and techniques, his favorite haunts are the places noted for their bigger winter fish, like the San Juans, waters off Point No Point and, in the late-winter and early spring, northern Hood Canal and Mid-Channel Bank.

He fishes the spoon on a pound leader, 38 to 40 inches behind an inch flasher, usually a Hot Spot. Favorite flasher colors are some shade of green or white. Sometimes he smears a little Smelly Jelly on his spoons, but not always. Krein spends much of this blackmouth season on Possession Bar, working his gear within 20 feet of the bottom in to feet of water.

ok i have a ford f that i need help wiring a wheken headlight flasher part # SSF it say to hook up to the headlight bright light wire. someone please tell me what wires i need to hook up to. i have a diagram if you need it. thanks.

I have ordered from both companies in the past and gotten good service. Prices are as of October, In case you’re wondering about the “exact functionality” part, it has to do with the indicator light in the speedometer. Originally, this light is on when the outside turn signal lights are on. If you use a generic 3-terminal flasher, the speedometer light will be off when the outside lights are on, and vice versa.

The flasher has a separate set of contacts for the indicator light, which lets you wire it to work exactly as the original. Make a daisy chain with the wire and five push-ons like the following. The male push-on goes to the “-S” wire. Make up a daisy chain using six push-ons like the following. Plug all remaining female push-ons into terminal 86 12v or the other small terminal 6v of each relay. Plug the male push-on into the “30” wire. The relay with two push-ons from this string on it is the “power” relay – remember that.

Hook your battery back up temporarily and pull the hazard flasher switch out.
